Shiva ji house team ‘Truth Clinched the Trophy
A quiz contest was organized in shah satnam ji boys’ school, sirsa on Saturday. It is noticeable that quiz contests are being organized from last four weeks. This time class 9th and 10th students took part in the contest. There were twenty four contestants in this competition. All contestants were divided into eight teams named ‘Peace’, ‘Pity’, ‘Truth’, ‘Patience’, ‘Honesty’, ‘Sacrifice’, ‘Empathy’, ‘Emotion’.
It was an inter house contest in which shaheed bhagat singh house, shaheed udham singh house, maharana pratap house and shiva ji house contestants showed their talent. Questions regarding Maths, Science, Social Science, G.K, Computer and Spiritual were asked from all teams. The whole contest was divided into five sections. For every correct answer four marks were decided. It was a tough competition. Eventually team ‘Truth’ got first position. Besides this Shaheed Bhagat Singh house performed well and got second and third position. From this house team ‘Honesty’ got second and team ‘Sacrifice’ got third position.
In prize distribution, school administrator Dr. Hardeep Singh Insan and Principal Rakesh Dhawan Insan congratulated to winner teams and honored them with prizes. In his speech, principal said that the school is organizing such type of contests from last four weeks and it shall be continued in future also. Such competitions sever as a platform for students where they can build their confidence. Therefore, those students who have not participated till now, they must come forward to show their talent.
