Freshers’ Welcome, 2023-24
Dr. Jaspreet , Scientist from New Zealand delivered a lecture on DNA editing to the students of Class X & XII of our school to stir their curiosity in science.
He explained how DNA editing can be used to cure various diseases like Cancer, sickle cell anaemia and many more. This technique is also helpful in fast detection of corona virus and could bring about marvelous changes in the way we approach diseases.
The main aim of the workshop was to aware the future generation about the various aspects of genetic engineering to cure many diseases. It was of great help to students to develop new understandings about the practical world of scientific experiments.
